The History of the company

Limited Liability Company Kolbiko Is one of the famous leaders of the meat product market. Their history began in 1994, when first lot of sausage products under Kolbiko TM has been made at production facilities under leasing.

Year 1997 is one of the main dates in the history of Company’s activity. In that year, on a new place, new facilities with state-of-the-art equipment have been erected. From that time, progress of the Company became rash; however, processing abilities available ceased to meet steadily growing consumer’s demand on products made by Kolbiko.

In 2004 , started the next phase of construction and re-construction of the Company. At that, focus was not only installation of state-of-the-art equipment (commissioning of smoking chambers, startup of LACOFORM Deep Drawing Thermoforming Machines, Logistics of Storage Accounting and BIZERBA Labeling Automatic Facilities) and also development of new technologies, and selection of highly skilled employees.

Now, not only skilled specialists with long experience of work in this industry are employed at Kolbiko; young people, who have been trained at the Company, also do so.

For today, number of Kolbiko’ employees makes 774 persons, whereas in the year 1997 they were just 20. End of the year 2005 is marked with commissioning of a new unit for preparation of air-dried and raw sausages. In the same time, started construction of new vehicle boxes; with these vehicles, products of the Company are delivered to stores and other trading outlets. Fleet Kolbiko is steadily increasing and undergoes renovation; today, it included over 35 vehicles equipped with refrigerators.

In March 2006, the Company started to promote on the maker a new trademark Zolotoy Telyonok (Golden Calf). Main distinctions of this cheap series of products became cost-effectiveness and customary high quality of the products made of natural sorts of meat. It should be noted, that Kolbiko pays special attention to the quality control of their products. This was the reason why even in August 2006, a task force dealing with development of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000 has been organized. In 2007, Limited Liability Company Kolbiko has been a Leading Partner of Pan-Ukrainian Beauty Competitions Miss Donbass OPEN -2007.
